PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES AND POST THAT YOU AGREE TO FOLLOW THEM!
PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR GAMER TAG AND TEAM NAME!
YOU MUST DO THIS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN THIS LEAGUE!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
League Settings:
Number of teams: 24
Difficulty: Hall Of Fame
Quarter Length: 8 Minutes
Conference Quarterfinals: Best of 7
Conference Semifinals: Best of 7
Conference Finals: Best of 7
NBA Finals: Best of 7
Injuries: On
Free Agency: On
League Rules
THESE RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED NO QUESTIONS ASKED!
*If your opponent is not following these rules, pause the game and tell them what they are doing wrong.
*If they continue breaking the rule, please inform an admin and the matter will be discussed with both parties.
1- Pressure:
-You can only full-court press if you are down by double-digits or if you are losing with under 4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter.
-Otherwise you must wait til the opposing PG/ball handler reaches the half court line to pick them up man to man.
-You can only steal inbound passes if you are losing with under 4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter.
2- Drawing Charges:
-You can only draw charges (hold B) inside the three point line.
-If a CPU player draws a charge outside the three point line, it is the fault of the player on offense and it is legal.
3- Cherry Picking Rule:
This rule is also known as the fast break rule:
-No cherry-picking allowed and/or excessive full court passing.
-You are ONLY allowed to fastbreak after a turnover, and a PG rebound.
4- Points In Paint Rule:
This rule is also known as PIP. You are only allowed 50% Points In Paint.
- PIP is calculated as Total Points In Paint minus fastbreak points/Total Points
- If the winning team who goes over PIP declines the reset of the game they will receive the loss.
- If the losing team goes over PIP the game will remain as-is.
- If both teams go over PIP the game will be reset.
5- Position Rules:
IF A PLAYER HAS A SECONDARY POSITION HE IS ALWAYS LEGAL TO PLAY THAT POSITION
-All Point Guards can play Shooting Guard
-Any Shooting Guard under 6'5" can play Point Guard
-All Shooting Guards can play Small Forward
-All Small Forwards can play Power Forward
-All Power Forwards can play Center
-No Power Forwards can play Small Forward
-All Centers can play at Power Forward
6- Blowout Rule:
This rule is also known as the Good Sportsmanship Rule:
-If your team is winning by 30 or more anytime after halftime, you MUST substitute your bench in.
-If your team is winning by 20 or more in the fourth quarter, you MUST substitute your bench in.
-Please do not try and run up the score. Please be respectful of your fellow owners and try to end the game as painlessly as possible. This means keeping your bench in (if CPU auto-subs in starters, it's ok but get your bench back in at the next dead ball), running down the shot clock, feeding the post, shooting mid-range jumpers, etc.
7- PROCESS FOR DISCONNECTED GAMES:
-If a game is disconnected, please post it in the Disconnected Games section. Post the Round and Game #, as well as the game situation (score and quarter). Here are the guidelines for game resets:
-If the 2k Sports website shows that one played disconnected from the game (the final score will display a D next to that player's name), the player who did not disconnect will have the option to let the results stand, replay the game, or take a sim win via the "Determine Winner" option (this option will only be available if the person who did not disconnect was winning).
-If both players post in the thread that they agree to let the disconnected game stand, then the game results will stand, regardless of game situation.
-If the game disconnects in the first half, the game must be reset (unless both players agree not to).
-If any player pauses and quits the game, please report this to an admin so that the quitting player can be contacted and potentially booted.
8- Trades Rule:
-Trades must be posted in the Trades section of the forum with all players' positions and overalls. It must be approved by 2 Moderators before they can be processed in game. The league can always voice their opinion on a trade, but moderators have the right to veto any trade they feel is unfair.
-Trade Point System:
1 for 1 Trades: 2 points or Less
2 for 2 Trades: 3 Points or Less
3 for 3 Trades: 4 Points or Less
4 for 4 Trades: 5 Points or Less
-Trade deadline will be when a team reaches 30 games played in the regular season. Once that team gets to that mark they can not make or accept any trades.
9- Playing Time:
You must play at least 5 games per week. If you are able to play more then play more if you can! (5 Games per week/ 40 game season= 8 weeks of regular season play)
10- League Activity:
Try to be somewhat active in the chatbox and also in the forum. I put in a lot of work to make this forum what it is and all I ask in return is activity.

RULE VIOLATIONS:
-If you believe a player is violating the gameplay rules, please save video highlights of the violation and PM an admin after the game with a link to the video.
Do not bring your complaints to the chat, this will only make the problem worse.
COMPLETE THE GAME ANYWAY DO NOT QUIT! IF YOU QUIT YOU RISK BEING BOOTED FROM THE LEAGUE!
Video proof of rule violation must be given to admins if any action is to be taken, otherwise we can only talk to the potential rule violator and warn them.
We do not want to be booting guys because one player doesn't like their style, this is not fair to the player accused.
Forum Rules
In order to make your stay as pleasant and constructive as possible please take your time to read through this document, it will help you navigate the pits and traps this community has created for new members. These rules can be changed without notice though normally we announce changes via announcement in all the forums.

-Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted.
3- Be nice to each other:
-Respect one another, profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn to the respective moderator and if the moderator can't help, you should send a private message to Stillatin144 (Admin).
4- Do not spam or advertise:
-No blatant advertising. (do not try and promote anything other than your own team)
5- Keep the size of personal images down:
We want you to post images of your game and recap your season however try to keep the images as low as you possibly can.
6-No cross posting:
-Post your message once, on the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.
7- Use a title that describes the content of your post:
-Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention to your post.
8- The official language is English:
It may be an international league but we would also like everyone to have the ability to freely communicate with one another.
9- Multiple registrations are prohibited and are grounds for immediate account deletion.
10- Instructions by the moderator team are to be followed.
If you don't comply with these rules you'll have to face probably getting booted from the forum and the league.

These rules are perfect.
What is game speed at?
And about inbound stealing, what happens when the ball is inbounded past the halfcourt line to the top of the key, do I have the right to go for the steal if I feel it is a bad pass, or bad timing on the pass?
