Even though he's dead set on NY and i would cop a melo jersey the second its official, what other spots seems more logical for him to go?

Eff another spot, let him come to N.Y. trade away Gallinari and Chandler. We want Melo!

I think the Magic make the most sense. DHoward is developing an offensive game but he will never carry a team on that end. IMO, they would be a perfect pair. Too bad Orlando doesn't have the juice to land him...

But sentimentally...bring him to Newark/Brooklyn! We need a local rivalry...if they can keep Favors/Lopez and land him, that would be the the best frontcourt in the league soon and stay that way for the next 6-7 years.

I doubt that because Favors was the guy they used that pick for and he would of been traded away in the proposed Melo deal so the Nets would of had even less ammunition to swing a deal for Melo because they certaintly wouldn't of traded Wall for him.

Breaking news guys. Carmelo will be coming to NY in a three team trade with the nuggets and the timberwolves.

Welcome home carmelo.

Welcome home?? He lived in BK when he was 7 lol - dudes from Baltimore...

With that said, I hope it ruins the chemistry that they have and Isiah is back in the GM seat come June.

Sincerely,
A frustrated Nets fan

Yeah Melo to the lakers wouldn't work as well as Melo to the Knicks. Kobe and Melo both thrive with the ball in their hands and shooting so it would be two of the same thing. He would be better off in NY

Looks like Melo may not get trades. He said if he doesn't get traded he would strongly consider signing an extension with the Nuggets at season's end. So Denver might have to get a super good deal to want to move Anthony after hearing that...

Carmelo Anthony has informed people close to him that he will not sign an extension with the Nets, according to sources.

Anthony has had a longstanding preference to play for the Knicks.

If the Knicks and Nuggets are unable to complete a trade, Anthony must still weigh his options of whether to risk not signing an extension with the looming uncertainty of the NBA's next collective bargaining agreement.

Personally, I think the Knicks roster was better before the trade...gave away pretty much the whole team to get Melo. Crazy. Billups, Melo, and Amare are a nice threesome for a squad...but's that's pretty much it now. No bench...not even a couple solid role players anymore. Unless this is just the beginning for the Knicks moves...we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

CP3 to NY - now that would make things interesting....
