Starting line-up Update:

Elton Brand will now be coming off the bench to help solidify our second unit and to bring toughness to our starting 5. Helping to bring that toughness will be defensive and rebounding specialist Jason Maxiell. Maxiell brings defense and rebounding that were sorely lacking in the front court and opens up a lot of space for Bargnani to attack defenses from 3 point and mid range which is his specialty.

Elton Brand (6'9", 78 overall) is now also available for the right price in a trade offer, his strengths are his low post game and offensive rebounding (85 inside, 90 close, 79 post offense, 82 post shooting, 85 offensive rebound).

The Oklahoma City Thunder are now on a 4 game winning streak! Starting with a season sweep of the series with the New Jersey Nets the Thunder went on the road and won their 3rd straight road game and 4th overall against the first place L.A. Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers. The streak has brought the Thunder back to the .500 mark at 8-8, and carried the league's second best road record up to 6-4.

In just 24.25 MPG, League MVP candidate Deron Williams is averaging 25.0 PPG 8.25 APG 4.25 RPG 2.0 SPG and just 3 turnovers per game so far during the streak.

After coming off the bench for one game new free agency pickup, Erick Dampier 6'11", will now be taking over the starting center role from Bargnani who will slide over to power forward. Jason Maxiell now moves back to the bench and is said to have fallen out of favor with coaches. He is now the odd man out with Elton Brand picking up the majority of his minutes.

Caron Butler will now also be starting at small forward. Al Thornton takes over as the sixth man however he will see increased minutes off the bench from his previous role as starter.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed free agent Center Erick Dampier. Reserve guard Dominique Jones was released to make room on the roster for the 35 year old 6'11" former first round pick from Mississippi State.
